Mission Statement, Motto and Core Values

As a Christian school we are inspired to strive for excellence by the verse in Micah 6:8:
“He has showed you, what is good; what does the Lord require of you?  To act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

Act Justly:
To demonstrate right action and attitude so that the good and best is always our goal.

Love Mercy:
Love, understanding and a generosity of spirit to epitomise what it is to be a member of ATS.

Walk Humbly:
To enrich the school community by serving one another and our God.

Core values:

Compassion
We respect each other, care for those who are hurting and never tolerate bullying.

Hard Work
We aim for excellence showing true grit and determination especially through difficult times.

Accountability
We recognise that we are responsible to one another for all that we say and do.

Respect
We value and listen to each other, believe that each has something good to offer and that our differences make us strong.

Trust
We strive to be honest, hardworking and to treat each other well.

In this positive Christian learning climate all will benefit and grow in wisdom.
