School Uniform

At Archbishop Tenison’s School, uniform is compulsory and the highest standards are expected of pupils.  We therefore ask for co-operation from parents/carers in ensuring that their sons attend school correctly dressed in the approved school uniform.

Our pupils gain a sense of identity and a feeling of pride from the distinctive and attractive Archbishop Tenison’s uniform.

Blazer (Years 7 – 9): Regulation blue with badge (White Hall Clothiers).
Blazer (Years 10 and 11): Regulation black with Badge (White Hall Clothiers).

Trousers (Years 7 – 9): Mid or dark grey, plain – regulation school pattern.
Trousers (Years 10 and 11): Black, plain – regulation school pattern.

Shirt: Plain white with collar (no colour or decoration).

Tie: School tie (White Hall Clothiers).

Shoes: Plain black leather (no trainers, boots, patent leather or suede).

Socks: Plain grey or black.

Sweater (Years 7 – 9): Plain mid-grey with blue striped ‘V’ neck (White Hall Clothiers).
Sweater (Years 10 and 11): Plain black with yellow striped ‘V’ neck (White Hall Clothiers).

Outdoor Coat: Plain black – decoration and badges are not allowed.  This is to be worn over the blazer and NOT instead of it, and NOT in the building.

Bags: Archbishop Tenison’s School bag and Archbishop Tenison’s School PE bag – available only from the School.

Indoor PE Kit: White gym T-Shirt (White Hall Clothiers), white-soled gym shoes, white shorts, white socks.

Outdoor PE Kit: Red football jersey, red football socks, football boots, black shorts (White Hall Clothiers).

Swimming: Any plain coloured trunks – not shorts.

Apron (Technology): Plain, white apron for Design & Technology practical lessons.

ALL CLOTHES MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE OWNER’S NAME
